~~Happy 14th Day for July~~

Happy Fourteenth Day! (Yes, I know it’s the 15th, but most of you were enjoying your Sunday yesterday, no? So I waited until Prime Time to post this.)

Don’t you feel like cover designers deserve a big pat on the back this month? Because WOW. They’re all amazing, all unique, and all intriguing. I have a feeling they’re all perfect for the words within, too, and what more can we ask for than that?

~~OTHER AWESOMENESS FROM OUR GROUP~~

Dahlia Adler has a new release date for Behind the Scenes. It will be out June 24, 2014.

Helene Dunbar has an official title for her debut–These Gentle Wounds.

Corinne Duyvis (with friend Kody Keplinger) has been working hard this month on a blog phenomenon many of us have heard of via twitter: Disability in Kidlit. It’s here on WordPress, Tumblr, and Twitter. It’s worth checking out if you haven’t already. She is also in an anthology at Clockwork Phoenix. Her story “Lilo Is” isn’t YA, but it is 100% Corinne Duyvis, and that’s all we care about anyway.

Emily Lloyd-Jones has sold the French language rights to Illusive~~~ooh la la!

And that, Dear Reader, is all we’ve got for July! Thanks for reading.

Amber Lough lives in Syracuse, NY with an astrophysicist and their two kids. She spent half her childhood in Japan and the Middle East, but majored in Russian because she likes a challenge. She quit her job in the Air Force to write her Middle Eastern fantasy, THE FIRE WISH, which is due from Random House Children’s in Fall 2014.
